

The Computer Games Boot Camp is an event run by the Faculty of Information Technology for everything connected to computer games.
If you are interested in becoming a professional gamer, building and designing games, ICT or simply enjoy playing games this event is for you.

Volunteers - Computer Games Boot Camp 2012
Requests for Volunteers will be advertised shortly
We would like to hear from you if you qualify for any of the following areas:
* Current Monash student
* Event and volunteer experience
* First aid qualified
* History of game playing or development
* Experience and interest in IT
Selected students will have the opportunity to work with a television crew, run tournaments, workshops, showcase work, present and other interesting activities.

Work Experience at CGBC
Looking for work experience? High School students can complete work experience at CGBC. Students are involved in all aspect of the event. Many schools consider W.E. at CGBC, as the "Ultimate work experience". Work Experience is completed during the weekday period of the event.
Areas of involvement: Broadcast production, project management, activity coordinator, tech support, media crew and many other areas.
How to register?
Ask your Careers coordinator to contact the Faculty directly. Schools follow the standard work experience procedures.

The IT Challenge is a multiple category competition for High School Students and celebrated in a final IT Challenge awards night in July 2012.
